From the BBC news to the 150-mile Marathon des Sables across the Sahara, Sophie Raworth is best known for presenting the evening news, covering some of the most significant events in modern history and interviewing important global figures.
At the age of 40, thinking she was too old to run marathons, she decided to give it a go having supported a friend run the London Marathon. She collapsed two miles from her first marathon finish line but picked herself up and has now run all seven World Marathon Majors and ten ultra-marathons. RUNNING ON AIR is an inspiring story with a great life message that you can do so much more than you ever believe of yourself.
